The "REAL" ID Illusion

Postby XBRCBR » Mar 28th, '09, 23:49

Difficulty: 1
PRICE: Bought with 13$

They say:
Just imagine all 52 cards turn "INVISIBLE" right inside spectator's hand.
An ambitious card routine with a blockbuster ending! Your fascinated spectators watch with amazement as you make a card jump from the middle to the top of the deck. You then mystify them even further by repeating this astonishing feat. Then you hit them with the grand finale. Incredibly, the entire deck transforms into a crystal clear block of plastic while it sits in a spectator's hand.

* Made of high transparent acrylic.
* Strong effect as demo video shown.
* Great for impromptu and street.
* Come completely with gimmick, instrustion and routine

What I saw:
Is very easy to perform and have lovely succes. You will not belive how they not see how you play with them !
The routine can be changed by your imagination.

It's the Omni-deck, to be specific.

Shawn Farquhar had his Omni Deck made slightly smaller to make it easier for certain things, I have one of his & use it quite regularly. It's a nice effect & I have seen multiple handlings for it. Highly recommended for the price.

MY SPIN

Postby NexusMagicShop » Apr 8th, '09, 11:57

I watched the video and I read the reviews. But I don't think I am totally sold on this effect. I mean a block of glass? Now if it were a block of glass with his signed card inside then I would be sold on the effect.

Hum... Maybe the patter needs improvement.

A story like: When I was very young, I used to watch through the window as my dad went off to work. I stared all day through the glass watching the day go by. Shielded by this invisible force field, I was mesmerized by the world outside.

Now have them pick a card.... go through the routine as you would blah blah blah... And at the end say some thing like: And now as an adult the windows of magic still follow me... Open your hand.

I think it would be a much stronger performance then what I witnessed in the video.

- My Thoughts
