Little bit of a moan and couldn't think where else to put it. I placed an order for carnie tarot and was told they would be ready to ship in 6-7 days, they took nearly 7 weeks to get to me. When they did turn up they were wrong, I'd ordered the traditional and 2 of the cards in my deck were from the carnie deck. I've been in touch with Roth and he said he'd sort it but i've not heard anything from him for over a week now. Last time I ordered from them one of the products was not top quality but I let that slide, but for the price you pay for the carnie, i've left it a while to post this other wise I would have been a tad blue with the language. I've heard one or two other people talk about turn around time for orders but I think this was taking the mick a bit. The cards are very nice by the way moan over :?

Yes I did need them for my show and they turned up 2 days before thank god, I would have gone through a uk supplier but when I looked I couldn't find one stocking the traditional deck also I want a few extra cards so it was a special order, but I was told it would still only take 7 days to be ready to ship. I'm still waiting for Roth to get back to me with regards to replacement cards for the wrong ones and the cloth that didn't come with the deck even though it states in the instructions there should be one!

yeah - you should get a small purplish cloth with the deck...or a cloth of some kind at least...and if memory serves...some kind of little card stating the deck's name? i'll have to check on that bit...

I had exactly the same issues when i ordered the witches alamanc.
I emailed and emailed, with no reply but it was only when i mentioned it on the bunny' that something happened about it.

I personally wont use them again!

Mine's not bad. I ordered a hideout of them two weeks ago, never got a confirmation email, emailed them no reply, PM'd Roth this week, got a reply saying it was shipped that day, should be here tomorrow hopefully.

I really disliked the lack of a direct contact number, emails seem to have a habit of not getting replied to from some dealers.

On the contrary, I never have any problem with Outlaw. I'm quite satisfied with their service and their products, especially the book tests and I just ordered the Relic. I usually don't buy much "tricks" on the net except if I really need it.

There were some issues with his custom order that I do take the blame for. I also PMed Tristan back and told him I would send another custom hand aged deck out to him to make up for the problem.

Merlins of Wakefield does carry some of my items. They don't stock a lot and usually sell out fairly quickly.

I would give them a buzz.

Thanks

Rick

I needed a magnetic simulacrum of a pirate coin and ordered the Relic for my new story last Monday. I receive the Relic today, one week after the order.
It perfectly fits my needs for this specific use. (I already transform the relic in some kind of amulet...)

That's true. Certain customers will always have priority over others; that's not a criticism of Outlaw because I expect all dealers are the same. It's just the way it works.

Just checked back on this to tell you all Roth was dealing with the problem and I've missed loads of posts. Yes Roth has promised to send out another deck so can't fault him on that. Why would the Curator get special treatment? Not like he's well known is it  I'll say it here Roth thanks for your after care and dealing with the problem.
