From the Radio Times:
Spoon, Jar, Jar, Spoon: The Two Sides of Tommy Cooper
Wednesday 10 June
6:30pm - 7:00pm
BBC Radio 4
Rob Brydon explores two sides to comedian Tommy Cooper - his humour and his love of magic. On stage, Cooper assumed a manic and bumbling persona, but behind this was a man with a genuine talent for magic, as revealed by contributions from magicans Paul Daniels, Alan Alan and the late Ali Bongo.

Tommy Cooper could make me laugh without doing anything at all. He was one of the greats and I never tire of watching his performances. Thanks for the heads up, I'll give this a listen.
I still remember exactly where I was the night I watched him in his last performance on TV. Probably the way he would have wanted to go.

I bought a "Best of Tommy Cooper" DVD for a pound in Tesco the other day. Brilliant stuff.

anthony hopkins is a huge fan of tommy's...i think he went and unveiled a statue of the cooper in wales somewhere, if memory serves....
hopkins can also do a very good impression of him too...(in fact all good actors can do a lot of great impersonations)
and lets not forget - hopkins was in a 70s film called MAGIC...quite creepy too...
