Has anybody else seen this magician:

Brian Brushwood

He follows more of the sideshow sort of routine, but I like his stuff alot.

I also mention him because the pseudoscience course that I am a Teaching Assistant for, he took a few years back and it was the course that inspired him to perform. As well, it inspired him to do a traveling lecture called Scams, Saquatch and the Supernatural. Both of these are available as a purchase (I highly recommend the lecture).

His clips have been good, and I find it fascinating that the same class has been the same inspiration for both of us to follow the magical arts.

i have his video and book on fire eating. iv seen his DIVX promo trailer too. I love his style! I dont think a review of his fire eating stuff here would be appropriate because its not exactly magic, but i could do one if people wanted. His book in particular is very, very good!

(Bumped as don't really see much need to open a new thread)

Brian was recently at SXSW (festival in the US) doing his schtick. Buried in the middle between the bed of nails and the education on fire eating, he did a fairly decent card trick. As in really it was more an excuse to do psychic surgery. And it was fairly well done. Well, I enjoyed it at least...
