PASSING THRU - Visual Coin thru Bottle (Kevin Parker Productions)

They say

This instructional video teaches you how to visually push a real coin through the bottom of a real glass bottle, leaving it inside. They watch it melt through the bottle's bottom, leaving your hand and falling into the bottle. They don't see it just 'appear' in the bottle, they watch it melt through. The bottle is then handed to spectator for inspection and to keep.

They won't find any holes or gimmicks anywhere on the bottle. This instructional video, taught by the creator himself, will teach you everything you need to know to perform this illusion. Upon learning the secret, you will immediately want to rush out and perform it.

Review

I've been thinking about doing "coin in bottle" for a while, but not known which to go for. But when I saw the video for Kevin Parker's version my mind got made up very quickly. This is the one! You actually SEE the coin go into the glass bottle! You can then see and hear it clinking on the glass as it moves around inside.

There's a minor gimmick needed but it can be made in less than a minute and you probably have everything required to make it in your house already. No need for a PK ring, in case that's what you're thinking.

The effect plays EXACTLY as shown on the demo video. For about £12 you get a real bona fide miracle.

I did a search on TalkMagic and found an 11-page thread dating back to 2006 full of people raving about this ( http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic10011-0-asc-0.php ). Why did no-one tell me about it before? Absolutely great visual magic that easy to do - what's not to like?

Overall

I give this 10/10.

So easy to do and yet looks completely impossible. Highly recommended!

I thought it was pretty good.

The only problem I had with it was finding the right kind of bottle to use...
They're definitely readily available, but I wouldn't say they're commonly found.
Other than that, it's really visual and pretty simple technique-wise...
