Topic deliberate innuendo bingo...

Anyway, I'm sure it's been brought up before, to move all the sticky threads in Tips and Supports to its own forum, and adding useful threads to it as threads become helpful

Lots of useful information gets lost through time (let's face it, who uses search before starting a topic?) and having some useful threads full of tips for new people — and people who wish to brush up on skills — to read would help everybody I feel. And then when people come up with some better advice, they can simply add to the fountain of knowledge

"People who hail from Manchester cannot possibly be upper class and therefore should not use silly pretentious words"

This has my vote, too.
Another point is that often very useful advice get's lost amongst bickering and goes off colour so perhaps some edititing to take out some of the useful stuff and leave all the other useless stuff behind.

''To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in another's.'' Dostoevsky's Razumihin.

Interesting ideas. If there are particular threads which could do with being moved into a separate are then we'd need to know which ones come under that category. However that wouldn’t exclude any additions which could still take them off topic.
Editing etc is OK in principle (and plenty of it goes on!) but there's a lot of stuff to look through and editing does take quite a time. Again, if there's anything which needs to be edited it would be best to let the Mods know so they can go straight to it rather than scan through all the posts.

He can just edit it later.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.
