the 9 effects explained include

Those out there who saw Ali Lecture, will know the format. Clean, simple, powerful effects, taught with passion by one of magic’s greatest ever minds.

For advice, memories, and historical information surrounding Ali, this dvd is second to none.

One minor quibble though, is i could of done without the magic network adverts, and "news". It would of been better to of had a montage of photos of Ali, or better yet, some video clips of his stage act we all know and love.
that said.. it still has to be a must have for all.

incidently... something to note.

if you get this dvd, you will see an effect called Ruller roller.

this is an effect used by both David Nixon, and Paul Daniels on their series.

in effect an egg rolls up and down a clear plastic ruler.
compare the very simple method used here, with the one used in the film The Ilusionist.( Its shown on one of the dvds extras)
Ali's version is completely clean.. the one in the movie, uses a complicated pin and thread system, that would of had to been painted out in post production.
Ali's comes free with a shirt.
