It is with great sadness, that I announce the passing of Tony Russell of "Pennywise". Many magicians from all all over the country & beyond, would have dealt with him as a dealer at the various conventions that he attended, & indeed at one time he had a small shop in the Arcade here in Boscombe, Bournemouth.

Tony, as well as being a dealer was also the driving force behind the Basingstoke Circle Of Magicians, his passion for magic & people was unparelleled. Sometimes controversial, ALWAYS witty & a joy to be with & to know.

I understand the night before he died, he requested his mobile phone to be placed into the coffin, & instructed for a close friend to ring the number during the funeral service, & to get someone to answer it, whereby they would get a message that he had left, saying that unfortunately he was "Unavailable" at the present time! that is so typical of Tony's pure sense of humour & fun.........

Sincere sympathy is extended to his wife Jayne & Family.

Rest In Peace Tony, we will all miss you..............
