Hi Everyone

I have been practicing magic most of my life but haven't really ever been serious about it till now I hope i am not too old , i am 23 years old and very eager. I am from the UK England and hope to meet some new friends here. I just purchased a starter magic kit and await its arrival and hope to be performing magic in no time!

Welcome to a fantastic forum.

You will soon find that you become addicted to reading all the great threads and comments on here. Check out the videos that have been posted on the site so that you can get a feel of the quality of the membership here. Its quite daunting to us newbies

You say you have been doing magic all your life but are now awaiting a starter magic set?
What sort of starter set is it? Professors nightmare etc etc??

Tell us a bit about the magic you are interested in. Mentalism, cards, close up.....

If you have a web cam its also a good idea to post your effects on here sometimes. I have done it in the past and you get some fantastic feedback and guidence from the talent on this site.

Thank you for your message Kobain! I actually purchased the CRISS ANGEL ULTIMATE MAGIC KIT. I am really interested in illusion-based magic, stuff i can go out on the street with and perform. I also love magical-loops and TTs! Im not big on pulling rabbits out of hats but i also would love to get into magic with dark gothic themes. I have so many visions on what i want to do in magic and cannot wait to get started. i am into

- Close up Magic

i cant think of any other terms as i am new! (sorry)

i have alot of experience in performing infront of crowds (from differant hobbies so i would like to think i have the confidence to do it. that is an amazing idea about the webcam i will try it sometime and i will get busy watching all the videos..seems like a amazing forum and i am glad to have found it!

Kriss Angel as well as the plethora of DVD's from Illusionist are mainly designed to get you to spend your oney and to keep coming back. They're not really the best value for money.

Depending on where you live, track down your nearest magic shop and if it's local I'd highly recommend a visit. Your eyes will be opened and you'll come away with something of dar more value.

If you don't have a magic shop near to you then shop from one of the online magic stores such as Alakazam, Hank Lee's etc.
