Ok thanks. I just hope you appreciate that the two decks are capable of very similar effects. I'm not having a go at you or anything, I just wanted to establish that it was indeed something different. Which you now say is the case.

As far as I can tell the RaMa deck and the Titanic deck do pretty much have the same construction, but please let's not let this thread get off topic. From what I can tell both ideas where indepenant of each other so let's leave it at that. Actually as we are on the subject there is also another deck that would appear to be very similar called the Indivisible Deck (by Brian Nordstrom)

As pointed out previously, the Titanic Deck, comes as a well produced pdf booklet.

It discusses :-
a) How to construct the deck (which is very easy),
b) various ways of shuffling the deck, including an overhand shuffle. You wouldn't let the spectator do the overhand shuffle, but you would be more than happy with him riffle shuffling or using some of the other shuffling methods discussed.

It also comes with three effects, two of which are seen on the video. I say three but it is actually 4 as Titanas also supplies a separate pdf with another very strong (imho) effect called "Resist". Don't think though that it is just a three trick pony, as it would be very easy to come up with any number of new an strong effects using the deck.

There is also discussed a "third principle", that is possible something not included with the RaMa deck. This principle added to the others makes for some very convincing "mentalism" style effects, in fact I believe it is this "third principle" where the full potetial of the deck lies.

The forum that you are invited to join and share ideas is still in it's early days, but I see no reason why it shouldn't take off in the same way that the Stealth Assassin Wallet forum has. I will myself be mentioning a few routines there, and I see that discussions and ideas are already underway. This can only be a good thing.

All in all I am very happy with my purchase. I have to confess that I haven't had a chance to perform it for paying customers yet, but I will.

If you perform Elliminator by Adrian sullivan (Alakazam) then try it with this deck. It is incredible and completely baffles specs.

I would say that the only neg is that the reset is not instant.

hey guys just came across this an debating whether or not to get it. Is the deck examinable? Can I use it for regular card tricks? And if you can't answer this I understand, but does it employ the concept of the ID? I don't really want another version of that for 4 times as much. Thanks a lot.

I don't have Real Media player, and despite a lot of posts nobody really gave a review of this deck. So, my impression is that it is

1. You pick a card
2. I tell you which card you picked.

I don't know about the rest of you, but my friends would kill me if I showed them one more trick like this--they don't care (or even know) that this may be a brilliant, new method.

As for the price...fifteen pounds for a pdf file...I can buy two Stripper decks (bicycle brand) for that. I don't have to do the work, and I can perform dozens of tricks; using the Stripper secret, or not...

Bottom line...I wish someone would leave a bone fide review.

That's another 15 dollars, if you can find the props that are not easy to find.

I am still trying to find a possible way that someone could perform Resist, Picture this and Under the table with a stripper deck.

How can Titanic deck be used with Eliminator?

I'm intrigued....
