Effect: Any card is selected and signed by the spectator. Next, you show the card case to be completely empty (it REALLY is empty) and is placed in between the hands of the spectator.
Suddenly the signed card visually disappears, only to be found INSIDE the card case that was show EMPTY just seconds ago. The best part is that everything happens in the hands of the spectator and everything may be fully examined afterwards.

Review: I bought this having seen a video demonstration, but with little other knowledge of the effect. It arrived with a DVD and the gimmick.
I watched the DVD and I have to say that the instructions aren't the best. Peter's methods in themselves are clear and easy to understand, but there are a couple of occasions where it moves from one step to the next without an explaination of how to seamlessly go from one to the other with everything looking natural. This is perhaps a minor quibble as with a bit of thought and practice it is easy to work out a method that works for you. Perhaps it is just that in the past I have bought DVD's from the likes of Richard Sanders who explain every single detail meticulously. Having watched the DVD and having played with the gimmick for a while I must admit that I had my reservations, and without giving anything away, I thought that it was very easy for something to go a little wrong and the effect is fairly angle sensitive, on top of which I feel that the demo video is a little misleading. Not being easily disappointed I perservered and practiced the handling and I have to say that this is a very good effect and that I had perhaps been making the easy mistake of looking at it through a magicians eyes rather than the laymens. I quickly realised that the angles weren't as big an issue as I had initially believed and having tried this on one or two people I can say that it gets very good reactions. The DVD also comes with two bonus effects: Card through card case and card under card case. These are both good additions that use the same gimmick and method. I particularly like the card through card case and feel that it is perhaps easier and cleaner than Flightcase itself.
Overall: Despite my initial concerns I am very pleased with my purchase. As I said, the teaching isn't great but with a bit of thought and practice this is easily solved and the bonus effects are strong too. I look forward to testing this more thoroughly but feel that it could be an excellent end to a routine such as Ambitious card.
The effect itself is good, but due to the teaching, overall I would give this product:
6.5/10.
