This is very sad news indeed. I will begin to reread the 13 steps cover to cover again now, I think. A very knowledgeable, and funny (his book is layered with examples) man, that we could all learn from.

As with Alex Elmsley and all the others of similar stature, I think the written stuff left behind by these greats of mentalism and magic shows the real meaning of immortality.

How sad.
I wished I would have gotten to see him.

A sad loss indeed. He was so much more than the 13 steps though. A truely great thinker ahead of his time.

I've only just spotted this, very sad news. My sympathies go out to all his friends and family.

A Great Teacher

Postby MWGrubb » Sep 11th, '10, 13:41

Tony's 13 Steps helped me advance in mentalism quickly. I often performed Zakamora II to great effect.

Thankfully, his work is available and can continue to be studied.

Thanks Tony!

I was very sad when I heard this.

It was '13 steps' that first got me into mentalism and, like a few people have said, haboured an ambition that I might someday get to meet him. A dream which will now not be realised.
