hmmm dont know if i agree.... noone ever puts me on these lists....hehe

Sounds like a good idea to me. Just need to work out a way of implementing it.
Trouble with forums is that persons are really anonymous, so there is nothing to stop people voting for themselves under an assumed name. Perhaps, the opposite would work, i.e. having a complaints procedure whereby the complaints are logged against the seller. Of course, there is nothing to stop the seller creating a new username and starting again!

my experience with e-bay is that people trade between themselves to boost thier rateings.
also one trader wited three years to build up a good rep the swindled 80 people out of thier money.
it a mine field i dont envy anyone who gets that job
