Colour Fusion Eric James

Postby BobbyT » Sep 26th, '11, 14:24

Hello Everybody.
This is my first posting - so please bear with me if I get things a bit wrong. With regard to Eric James' Color Fusion, has anybody had a problem with the Original Fusion. Here's the tricky bit, how to ask a specific question without giving away too much (over to you moderators if I overstep the rules). In particular, the problem I'm having relates to the actual working of the transformation of one colour to the other whilst the card is in the performer's hand. I'm finding the handling a bit tricky and it is not going as smoothly as I would hope. I guess that practise is the answer, but I'm curious to know if anybody else has experienced the same difficulty.
Thanks for reading.
Best Wishes
Bob

I'm not too sure what you're getting at. I have this and my tip is - don't over-complicate things - you don't need to. I use pre-made fusion cards .... alot easier in my opinion.
I don't know where the problem is, but in a nutshell (and hopefully I won't be giving too much away to other ppl), this is what I do:
Force the card; let spec examine it; a bit of mis-direction ... bring fusion card into play; get spec to sign card; tear corner out and leave it in play; fold the 3/4 card up and place on spec's hand, etc ..... tada :)

Hiya Mooonbeam
Thanks for the reply. I think that I may not have explained the version of fusion I'm using adequately. The method where the colour transformation takes place in the spectator's hand (the easier version) - no problem, as you say. The 'other' version, where the colour transformation is accomplished in the performer's hand via (this is the hard bit, not giving away the method) using a series of card 'adjustments' shall we say, is causing me some difficulty. The slightly awkward manipulation of the card employed to achieve a series of three-part colour transformation is the problem.

I hope that I've explained this better this time. It's hard to write about a problem when you can't exactly mention the problem.
Thanks again
Bob

I thought u might be doing the harder version, I just wasn't sure.
To be honest, the extra effort involved isn't worth the slightly louder applause that you'll receive (if u catch my drift) .... in my opinion anway.
If u continue on your quest, then I'm afraid I can't help u .... good luck though
I decided at a very early stage that the extra effort involved wouldn't be worth it. This gets good enough reactions doing the easy version .... if presented properly :)
