I've got all three, light, lighter and lightest! (CUPS???) and they're 3 of my favourite card books!
That said, I'm not really a card magician, it just seems that if you do magic, you're expected to know a few card tricks. So for me this is a nice way to learn a few and also they're tricks that I don't need to concern myself with the fiddly finger breaking stuff, and can concentrate on trying to make it look "magical" for my audience! (Still a long way from that though...)
The other thing I like a lot, and has been mentioned in this thread, is the routining. To me this seems very valuable. You can build smoothly from one trick to another, infact, one trick sometimes sets up the next! It was worth the price alone just to get a way of having OOTW as a second trick, and in the first trick the spectators shuffle all the cards! (If you must know, I tend to use Paul Harris's Galaxy, as there's further shuffling before the trick starts!)
The third book has a couple of great little things in it...Gemini Calling, which is a version of Fulvses twins, Numerology, which I think I like and is on the list to learn and really make use of, and the one that seems to constantly weird out my girlfriend, Cardstalt!
Hope this all helps...
(And I've just ordered Card College, so maybe I'm becoming a "Cardie..??)
