Hi
Mark here, I've only been learning magic for about 8 month or so, starting rather late at 40 years old, but I am enjoying ( virtually) every minuite.
I have tried various feilds of magic but to be honest I prefer cards..it has taken me months to air riffle my bikes..anyway any advice on card magic/ manipulation would be much appreciated
Thanks mark

hi mark im a new comer to the site as well, i started to seriously learn card manipulation about 4 years ago and i have a book that was recommended by the person who was teaching me called the royal road to card magic although he gave me his old copy it is availible still on amazon. if i quote my friend when he gave it me he said this is your card bible everything you need to know first is in here, some of the ways it explains to do a false over hand shuffle is quite difficult and i know an easier way if the card you are only contoling is the top one, but its a brilliant place to start and for anything you are un sure of you can find various tutorials on the net as the principle is the same. oh and my wife also gets bored mind you i do practice pretty much all day. the beauty of learning card manipulation you can always practice and thats the key i spend about 6 hours a day practicing even when i ran a bar as it was quiet in the day. but i always have a deck of cards on me so that if im waiting anywhere i can practice. hope ive been helpful from my experience and sorry if i rambled.
