Review: FADE by Chris Mayhew

Effect:
While the entire routine is a 3 card monte effect. Fade incorperates color changes, face changes and an entire deck-color change to really fry your spectators!

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

I would rate difficulty at a 3. The sleights needed are pretty easy to learn, if your left-handed (like me) you will have to make a few minor adjustments to the handling to pull it off, but it'll all be ok ;)

Review
What can I say? you are literally always one step ahead of the spectator. It really is seemingly impossible, and the presentation of the 3 cards (having 3 cards raised out) is very good at convincing that all is "fair" ;)

Overall
Couldn't recommend more, It's a nice ready-made routine, fairly easy to learn and very entertaining. (Oh and it ends clean, too!)

My only dis-likeness is it has around a 45 second setup/reset, which isn't too bad, but thought I'd mention it.

Overall rating... 8.5/10 :)
