Postby Kardshark » Mar 8th, '12, 03:37

Hello, everyone!
First time on a magic forum. Phew! Took me long enough. So, right into the intoduction.
My name's Isaac. I've been studying magic informally for 5 years, and only really got into cardistry the past year. I'm a relatively new cardist, and many of my tricks, flourishes, and routines are unrefined, and I seek to improve that. Hope you pros can help me out! It would also be nice to have some deck discussion. Thanks, everyone!

The other four years have mostly been me reading about famous magicians, like Blackstone. I've also rented some DVDs on mentalism, and watched performances online. Recently, I've found cards to me much more interesting.

Hi Kardshark,
Welcome! It took me a long time to take the plunge myself. As a comparative 'newbie' may I give you the benefit of my own inexperience?
First thing read the Welcome box in its entirety and the six topicss underneath especialy how to use the search engine. There is so much info here it will make your head spin.
So welcome again and have fun.
