Looks nice on metube.

Is it basically the same as Ambelitious Card by Masuda, or am I missing something? That's not a criticism by the way, if it is more or less the same. I don't have either effect, but like the look of both.

Yes, please do. I can't see the difference between this and Ambelitious, personal, but I am known to be a bit slow.

I have Masuda's item but not the Travelling deck. However, I would say they might be similar but not identical as it looks like you can hand the single card out with the Travelling deck. You can't do that with Masuda's. I may be wrong.

If there was a way to have a card selected, put back into the deck (some kind of tilt move perhaps?) then the deck disappear apart from the selection then I'd probably get it. Not sure if that's possible though.

You can't hand out the single card with the travelling deck. I got this a while ago but haven't gotten round to finding a good use for it yet. It's a bit dull as a stand alone illusion and needs working into a routine me thinks. This is not a criticism of the effect, Its a criticism of myself :?

Thats not quite true. As with many gaffed items You can hand it to somebody to hold.
on an outstretched hand, it feels perfectly normal.

just dont let them pick it up and have a close look.

How can you lay it in their hand but control them from having a good look at it? I'm not speaking from much experience but I would not feel confident in handing this to anyone. I accept that unless they were a magician then they would never dream that it might not just be a card but if you did look at it, it wouldn't take long to realise something wasn't right.

Is this much different to Panic? http://www.worldmagicstore.com/panic-gi ... ad0k6f0u82
They both seem to hit with the same effect?
I can't find a review of panic on TM

Not seen Panic myself. That said, It is reasonable to assume that the effect works in a simalar way to Traveling deck.
However, looking at it, i can forsee a few angle issues, since you have to have it extended out quite a way.
I will have to ask a few questions. :)

In just a few seconds, Ive managed to find out enough.

The description of the effect states.....

the four kings are pocketed and then the deck VISIBLY MORPHS INTO THE KINGS.

so no. There may be elements of the traveling deck method used in Panic, but it's not the same.
Traveling deck ends with you holding just one card, which you can transfer into something else. A bank note for example ( My contribution to the dvd).
