An Indian man who investigated a weeping statue and showed that it was to do with poor drainage has been charged with blasphemy for exposing the not-miracle. Can you believe this nonsense?

Charged with, but not convicted. Still a ridiculous situation. Reminds me of the only fools and horses episode where Del finds a weeping Virgin Mary statue in a church.

We introduced a blasphamy law about two years ago. Hard to believe that a modern democracy can tolerate this c*** (not the best). I burnt the law publically at a number of performances. Hopefully we will have the good sense never to enforce it.
