Anyone got this/have any input on this ??

This vid looks ..... well, too good to be true. I hate promo vids sometimes, 'cos I know that sometimes all is not as it seems :?

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

It certainly looks fantastic. The Wizard Product Review rated it highly.

It is an excellent product and does look as good as the video, but saying that I did find it very difficult to handle without it looking unnatural imo it will take a bit of practise to get it smooth it's not an out of the packet go out and perform item.

Also I believe the actual gimmick is very similar or the same gimmick that was created by someone else so I think the gimmick is already on the market it's just the effects that are new and there was full credits on the dvd portion.

The gimmick can be left in a pack while performing other effects until you come to utilizing it, Also it has another plus point of replicating another well known principle while in the deck so you can take full advantage of that.

Overall it is highly visual and will leave a lasting impact on a spectator but as I previously stated it's a definate 3 out of 5 in the difficulty department it's more awkward than anything.

Got this today and haven't had a chance to perform it yet, but the gimmick is great and as with most gimmicks, it is something you will need to work with to become accustomed to the handling but with this, it's worth the effort.

Eric is a great magician and explains everything clearly and thoroughly on the DVD. I am sure you will come up with your own applications, but the routines here are all excellent, highly visual and impossible looking to the layman spectator.

A particular favourite of mine is Extreme Twizt as I prefer direct and quick effects when performing at events etc and this is a variation on Paul Harris Bizarre Twist where you can visually see the card turn face up and the colour changing finale is something that will knock spectators out.

Purists will scoff at the use of gaffs, but when you can perform magic this direct, visual and entertaining, you'd be a fool not to consider this.

The gaff is not something you could easily make yourself, so I hope Eric makes refills available.

I agree, this gimmick is really good and allows you to perform many different tricks. I have bought mine in March 2011 and it broke two weeks ago. I used it quite every day, but I think it should last longer than just 3 months. However..I just received a new gimmick so I'm able to amaze people again with it. :-)

PS: Refills are now available on Eric Jones' site.

Mine broke too. Great effect but they should sell packs of the gimmick.
It's so fragile I'm scared to use the new one much!

Hey,
Eric will fix your gimmick for free if you send it to him. Except that you can buy refills here: http://www.ericjonesmagic.com/productlogin.html

Don't send anything to Eric or buy refills. I send a broken gimmick to him a year ago which he said he would either fix or send a replacement. Despite countless emails he hasn't bothered. His customer service is downright atrocious as people who ordered refills were still waiting for them months afterwards. The gimmick is quite finnicky and difficult to repair yourself.
