hi everyone, this is my first proper post:

i have had this trick for around 7 months now and think its a very good trick, the reactions it gets is amazing and is the most visual vanishing decks out there ! :D

so the trick...... with this gimmick you can:
1. vanish a deck of cards except for the chosen one
2. visually pass a deck through a table
3. cause a selected card to rise up the deck while out jogged
4.perform the classic deck to pocket where the deck in your hands gets smaller and smaller as they arrive in your pocket, one by one.

no flaps, pulls or magnets etc.

sleight of hand wise, out of 5 (5 being insane and 0 being none) i would give it a just about 2 !!!

the DVD is well constructed and is easy to follow with a few bonus routines it is easy and clear to follow and ensures an easy learning of the trick.

here is a link of the trick...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwHHSoU3YfE

thanks for reading, and let me know your views on it.

Ellis :D

hi,

i just had a look at the traveling deck and it looks as if you can choose what card you keep behind so i guess that a pro, whereas humbug you can only keep one card behind however judging from the trailer it looks like humbug is more of a routine kind of trick and traveling deck looks like just a 'trick'.

thanks

Ellis

I have this, but it's an older one with written instructions, maybe the dvd helps with the handling more but I've never used it. It can't imagine it being convincing enough to close up audiences.

Have you performed it to people? How does it go down. The angles seem very narrow what if there are people at the side of the main spec? I may have to dig it out and dust it off...

Performed it a few dozen times with audiences of mixed sizes. Always went down amazingly...nobody spotted the gimmick.

^^^ couldn't agree more, however when turning putting the cards behind your back and doing 'the thing' you have to be aware none is behind you and side angles are not to bad just a little bit forward and its fine.
