I agree!
Even if someone did have a clue about how all this was being achevied its best to keep them thinking. Even with the most simplest effects or gimmicks.

This trick is definitely my favorite trick, I am only on my second elastick band, but i brought 50 from ebay for £2.50. So I think this will last me a life time.......

you can get your 10p folding coin just for £4.49 at MyMagic4u.co.uk

£11 is way too expensive man.. may be can get from ruddz_1990 as well he has 50 of it ! =)

well I got my folding coin from mymagic4u.co.uk and I think this coin doesnt suit for bitting coin effect.. the bitten coin shape is a bit weird..

Anyone know where to get a reliable coin through bottle?

All mine so far have been of absolutely atrocious quality, despite paying a substantial amount for them.

Have a chat to Keith Bennett, he sells the Tango internal banded two pound folding coin: http://kbmagic.com/tangofoldingcointwopound.html Pricey mind you, but with gimmicked coins it always seems to be buy cheap buy twice.....

I'm a bit confused, how do you do the effect with a spectator's coin, when you actually need a gimmicked coin? This is probably a stupid question, but the effect of taking someones coin and pushing it into a bottle sounds amazing, are these instructions included when buying the coin?

Buy hundreds of gimmicked coins, then buy a bar, make sure everyone in the bar always gets gimmicked coins in their change and voila!

Seriously though, the whole point of buying a gimmicked coin in your own currency is so you can borrow a spec's coin, perform the coin in bottle, then hand back the spec's coin. The bit I'm missing out here is in Bobo (he does do a coin in bottle routine, but more importantly he teachs a number of techniques that allow you with a bit of imagination to perform miracles). I do a bent 2p routine if pushed to 'do something' when out, the spec hands me a 2p, I bend it and hand it to them. No expensive coin bending gimmicks required, just Bobo.
