Mass produced clones.

Alright just taking into account the original series, they're a Nazi analogy as well as being faceless antagonists and are utterly s*** at their job, so f*** those guys.

I think they must have been drafted. They are utterly s**t at their job. Cannot hit a cows *rse with a banjo and continually let prisoners escape. They probably did more for the republic than the Jedi

I'm with Kevin Smith on this one. The first time they blew up the deathstar, every occupant was an Imperial soldier, they signed up for war (or were cloned into it) they knew what they were getting.

But the second time? It was still under construction, would have been packed to the hilt with electricians, welders, panel beaters, mechanics and fitters, all just answering a juicy lucrative government contract. Times are tough, they cant afford to turn that work down, whatever their moral objections are they still have to eat. That blood is on the rebels hands.

'A Roofer should listen to their heart not their wallet.' All contractors on the Deathstar knew the risks involved. 'Return of the Jedi' is the one where the rebels have blood on their hand. Seeing as how their actions led to the Endor holocaust.

The "mass produced clones" predates the prequels by many many years. I remember first encountering the idea about 24-26 years ago, I think it was in one of the official books and therefore canon.

Ooh now i did not know that!

I stand corrected!

This topic now ceases to be useful as they just follow orders as they have no mind of their own!

Much love

I'm far too respectable and old to be a Star Wars geek, and yet I am sitting here in a lightsaber T-shirt with my Stormtrooper Top-10 trainers and considering which of my other 5 pairs of Star Wars trainers to wear tomorrow...

I thought they are in a government young persons job placement scheme where if they turn it down they lose all their benefits. That is why the rebels were so angry and annoyed about it all.

I'm a Jedi so I only fight for the goodies!

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.
