Scratching and Peeling

Postby Monkey Fingers » Aug 14th, '12, 22:16

Hello there. I am Monkey Fingers, mainly because I have large and ungainly digits. Good for hiding coins, not so good for elegant card magic (if such things exist for these fingers of mine). 28 eight years old from Southend. Its the cockney version of Blackpool, but without any form of bright lights. Hello. I am undecided what I wish to learn, or how to go about it. I have Bobo and the Royal Road to Card Magic(books, not dvds) and have had them for two years or so.

Welcome!

Could i suggest a bit of shameless promotion on behalf of Southend Sorcerers Society, they meet on the 1st Sunday of every month and are a real friendly bunch, i recommend contacting Richard Graham tell him Aaron sent you, he will arrange an initial meeting and you could go from there.

There are various magicians there from Cards to Coins and all the other stuff inbetween, other than that the advice i followed was do what you enjoy watching and my passion is card magic....so focused on cards....for now

Much love

Aza

So you have 2 of the best books available for beginners in magic, and you have been reading them for 2 years? You must have a bit of experience now? :? :? Regards Garry.

Hello from London!

I'm originally from Essex actually. Though nowhere near Southend.
