yes, but they are ESP cards, so I don't see that it will matter?

What do you mean they are ESP cards? They are clearly regular-faced cards in the demo videos

Spectator starts dealing cards - you say after 5 "and you can stop dealing anytime you want to....."

Spectator continues dealing - "When I said you could stop dealing, I meant sometime today" or some similar joke

Worst case scenario, spec deals until at the top of the deck. My own particular insurance policy/get outa jail free item is the ID. If spectator deals to a card I haven't anticipated, just produce the ID and say "Funny thing, that, I had a premonition that you'd stop there........." and carry on with the revelation

that is genius. have to carry that when i perform it next.

ok, i know this is such an old thread but was just thinking. I have been nabbed a few times about any "extras" in the deck. So what i will do now is let them see the first few cards them tell them to look into my eyes as i will will gaze at them and suggest by simply looking at them where to stop, i then push that card aside and show the 3 card in front that they could of picked and the 3 cards behind showing the choice was a fair one, and then do the reveal.

Does this come in a choice of red or blue bicycle? There's no apparent choice on the website's shop.

The ones I have are red, but I did once see one on eBay in blue.

Just got "Knock em Dead 2" which I seems pretty similar to the original as far as the cards go...

Haven't audience tested it yet, but I have a feeling it's going to be a well used one!

But one question to anyone that has this... (I have a couple of ideas already here, but) what do you do if you happen to get to the second ace?

(Edit... 2 days later)

It seems that I should have read the whole of this thread... rather than just being lazy and reading the first and last pages... my question is answered in there!

Anyway, I did this for the first time last night. The look on the guys face was amazing!

It's incredibly easy to do, so I can now really work on the performance of it :)

I have Kock Em Dead 2 and I have to say it's fantastic and as clean as the trailer. I don't have the first version so can't offer any comparisons but regardless of your level of skill I would highly recommend KD2 to anyone.

That is mentioned on the DVD. According to Peter that has never happened to him. I would imagine if you ask the spectator to slow down if they are dealing too quickly they will get fed up and choose a card before the second ace. I have performed this to family and friends a number of times now and I have found they stop within 8-15 cards, way before the second ace. I also use envelopes like in the trailer which I think works better.

I agree that this is a great effect, although there is one possible 'outcome' that I absolutely hate. I think anybody that owns the effect knows what I'm talking about. I always dread that outcome because I feel it is not only the weakest of the bunch, but just weak in general.

Even if no sleights, it can be nice to handle nice quality cards...
