Doing magic with cold hands

Postby Aza » Oct 7th, '12, 21:00

Ok you lovely lot, now you know by now I'm a big fan of the outdoorsy magic.....on the pier, in the pubs beer gardens, on private club smoking area balconies etc.

Now how do i content with cold hand syndrome?! I honestly feel like a complete beginner again when holding a pack of cards with cold hands.....

My sleights look sloppy as hell!!

I definitely want to carry on performing outside, but any tips on keeping my hands warm? other than one of those little heater pads you can carry around in your pocket?

Much love

Aza

Prior to the Show always wear gloves and invest in two of the simple handwarmers available.

Plastic drinks bottles filled with hot water kept in the pocket - always worked for me when I used to go to football matches on wintery Saturdays!

AND there are gloves available, worked on one battery in a pocket on each hand hat warm the hands--via hidden wires.
I used to wear them walking the dog in very cold weather.
