Review
Ok, so i was given a review copy of the app upon "mindshot" requesting a reviewer from his recent post, so i was happy to take a look at it and post my findings.
Let me start with the positive features of the app, the instructions are written very clearly and are simple to follow and the user interface is simple and intuitive to navigate. I have played with the app for about an hour and couldn't find any bugs or difficulty using any of it.
Now for the bad, this in my opinion is not a serious magic app, it's a bit of fun with your mates down the pub on a Saturday night, its priced that anybody who wants to know the secret will buy it, and when i am out performing my close up routine, i wouldn't risk using this as a serious demonstration of my magic, just in case i ran into the guy who says "i have that app as well"
One of the things that bugged me in the instructions was the following line "rub the finger on the forehead of the person in the picture and say Hocus Pocus" i mean really?! This is a good bit of fun, but nothing here for the serious worker.
I especially can't imagine any mentalists here wanting to draw attention to using technology, especially not in the gimmicky way the card appears in the persons mind.
Overall
I have to rate this app 3/10 for workability but 10/10 if you're going to use it as a mess about card revelation with your friends.
Much love
