Would 'greedoniz' be prepared to sell the one he has but never uses? I feel bad buying the seemingly last one in the UK now.

Russ

I am selling my intercessor over at the "for sale" part of the site. I currently have Zennonace who has offered to buy it but I am waiting to hear back after my pm.
If he doesn't get back to me in the 24 hours it'll be up for grabs again.

Intersessor

Postby danata » May 2nd, '09, 17:20

Hi, this is Mike Danata, at the Magic Studio in Bournemouth.

Just to remind everyone that I can't currently get this item back in stock. My suppliers seem to have discontinued it for some strange reason.

I think the item might be still available direct from Kevin James however, (in America).

All good wishes

Mike

great gimmick

Postby northernmagic » Jun 30th, '09, 11:04

I've had one for a while and used it for some fab tricks. Mark Waddington, are you forgetting who lent you the gimmick and created "fire & Ice"!

Possibilities are endless, well done Gaeton

Crikey - that's scary! I was delving through my stash of stuff last night and unearthed T.R.A.N.S.P.O.R.T. ( see http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic2814.php ) and I'll be renewing my acquaintance with this over the weekend - just for the sheer hell of it!

I might be a little late to the game, but I've just got my Intercessor and working on a routine for it, but I've checked with a couple of the venues I work and they are not happy with me burning playing cards to destroy the selection. (Flash paper is OK since it is not deemed so dangerous!).

Has anyone else experienced this issue and can recommend suitable alternative vanishes they have tried?

'wrap' it in flash paper & burn it.

Make it disappear without fire.

Intercessor - By Bloom

Postby TedTalon » Jul 12th, '11, 08:10

Intercessor is excellent, I know Nexus Magic has a few left in Blue Back bicycle. I ordered a few days ago when I found out that it was discontinued.

Re: The Intercessor by Gaetan Bloom

Postby Yann_Sicamois » Feb 5th, '13, 23:52

Hello all,

For your information, in last year's EMC, during his 'History of the Intercessor' talk Gaëtan Bloom gave a tip on how to use the gimmick without the 'bulky moves' being done in front of the audience.

daleshrimpton wrote:Its lazer cut. the one i have, is the same as the one everybody else has. Thats the point of it.

I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that the intesessor has a patent against it.

If you make your own, you will get caught out.

It indeed has a patent and the fact that all of them are cut the same way plays a major role in 'global intercessions'.

Mandrake wrote:There was talk at one time of establishing a network of owners who would be able to offer local 'help' by using their Intercessor. I never heard if anything came of this idea but it would have been good to do the biz in one part of the UK and have the parts match up miles way! Googling doesn't show up any likely sources so you might have to contact Gaetan Bloom himself and ask where it can be obtained.

Several initiatives came to be; the notable ones being a french website with almost 100 users and a map (the service providing the maps was discontinued at one point) to locate your nearest intercessor.
