I think the idea is good and the method is essentially sound. Three bits I really don't like though:
1.) I dislike the appearance of the Ace. If it's a gambling style demonstration, have the cards "shuffled", cut to an ace...then proceed to show
how you learn to control cards in the context of a game via the triumph demo and production...or something similar.
2.) Immediately after you produce it, you pick up the packet on the table, put it back on the other packet...then split them again immediately.
It doesn't make sense. I would suggest putting the packets back together...pausing and explain something "To practice controlling the cards
I do something quite unusual...I take one half face up...etc"...This breaks up the move that looks unnatural. You've produced the Ace, you've
then explained the concept and then after a time delay, resplit the cards with a motivation.
3.)Finally...I think lose the pass. No real need for it. Show the face up Ace, gather the cards, gently cut them to the table positioning
the other cards...use the time delay again to distance the cut.."Whilst being able to control the Ace, I also managed to control..."
Just my thoughts! Really like the idea of the routine, think the general execution is pretty good and the method is a nice adaptation of the
classic!
