The Effect
The inner gimmicks are Japanese 'Aardvarks' (edited by Mods) that allow smooth operation.

Show a walnut wooden pole with a cord passing through each end.

There are 4 different coloured pom-poms attached to each end of the cord.

Each time one pom-pom is pulled another pom-pom goes into the stick indicating that it is connected.

It gives the illusion that the string has four ends.

For the ending you separate the Pole showing there is no cross-connection between the pom-poms.

Put it back together and again it works again!

No Preparation Required!

Break-Apart Pole!

All Ready to Perform!

Perfect Illusion!

Cost £27.95

Difficulty 1
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review
the description says it all, this is not your cheep as chips chineese sticks that use a different method which can be a bit suspect, you can handle this prop with ease and not worry, all the same stick routines can be done.

Overall 9 / 10
the stick is a bit deceptive in the picture as i expected it to be biger than it actualy was when it arrived it being 9 inches long and 3/4 of and inch in diaminter at its base, that said its bright enough to be seen at some distance and you could change the pom poms for larger sponge balls without hurting the effect.
build quality as always is excelent with mke products and this is no exception buetifully turned in wood and the joint properly fitting and plastic shimed (celotaped), for precise slipage and hold, interestingly and not giveing anything away you dont already know, the internal workings are also wooden shrouded neo's so you dont gat any tell - tale, talking in operation.
if you use chineese sticks in your act then go for this one its well worth the money.

Another well made piece of Magic. It almost makes me want to start doing Kids shows. (Almost, but just not quite).

As well as being quite clever in operation a well presented routine can be fascinating to watch, even for an adult, so don't just think children when you see pom-pom poles (sounds much better than pom-pom sticks doncherthink?)

Cogito, ergo sum.
Cogito sumere potum alterum.

Does anyone have any idea of how old this trick is? Origins? Or how many variations there of it? Thanks very much

It's the exclamation mark within the triangle, the one where the triangle point is at the bottom. A PM will do instead but as you've highlighted it anyway I was able to spot it and delete - thank you again Jason!
