For those that have TTTCBE I have been trying this out on friends/work colleagues and have found the use of a breather crimp on relevant cards makes the selection more successful than the several cuts that may have to be made to reach the relevant card.
Moderators, not sure if I'm allowed to mention breather crimp in it's entirety, please amend accordingly.

Ah!
So, from the trick's title, is the explanation in the Giobbi book just a series of blank pages?

Hi Rich
I got this yesterday and I think your idea for using the crimp is excellent. The selection process without it seems to chancey.
How is it working for you?
Richard
