I have come up with an improvement to the black art box, the one used for productions. Before I can explain the idea I need to know the name of a card trick. you have four, cards one from each suit but of the same value. Then you mix them and have one selected and noted secretly by the spectator. You then show two little discs one black and one clear. Next you rub the discs together and a mini image of the selected card slowly fades in to focus.
