Melmoth Darkleigh - Bank Night Routine

Postby NathanielTapley » Mar 25th, '13, 15:36

Hello, here's one of my characters doing a Bank Night routine for Comic Relief a couple of Fridays ago.

(The magicky bit starts about 6:00 in...)

Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

Very cool! I quickly had a sense of the character, felt quite Edward Gorey / Addams Family.

Would have liked to have seen you say something more to close, rather than just dart off.

I laughed out loud several times. (c:

Very enjoyable - particularly liked the way you put the audience at ease

Only downside I could really comment on was that there were quite a few occasions you crossed in front of your assistants, so a little more stage management would have produced a slightly more polished routine.

On the whole, though, really liked the character, and further development would be a bonus! :D

Very nice, played well to the room. If I have one criticism it's that getting the note took longer than necessary. The bits of business went well but if the guy on stage didn't have a note then it could have dragged on more.

Thank you for all the comments. I'll certainly be looking to work on all of that.

Thanks again.
