Hi from Support!

Hello All

I thought I should introduce myself, since it is a long time since I posted on the forum!

My name is Laurence Jones and I started this forum "back in the day" as they say, when I used to be a magic dealer at emagictricks.co.uk or abrakazam.com. Sadly once magic became my business and I had used it to lure a lovely girl into becoming my girlfriend and now my wife, I started losing interest in magic and eventually stopped performing and pursuing other interests.

This year however, is a great year for me as I have re-found magic... visited the Blackpool convention and it was my great pleasure to meet up with the forum king Mandrake and also Bananafish.

I expect to be spending more and more time on the forum from now on and look forward to meeting you all!

Best
Laurence

Hello Laurence
Nice to meet you; shame I didn't get chance to say hello at Blackpool; perhaps another time.

Having spent a lot of time with young Laurence ( and quaffed several coffees!) in Blackpool I can confirm that he's not only genuine and does really exists (that should blast at least 6 doubting Thomas' here out of the water!) but he's a great guy who has rediscovered the love of this art. He also suffers badly from CUPS so we can all take heart that he's as 'normal' as the rest of us.

It was great to spend time with you and your lovely better half, welcome (back) to TM! :D

Awwww, thanks Mandrake, was great to meet you and I don't intend leaving it so long next time.. now I know where you live ;-)
!! I remember not what CUPS stands for but I'm sure it relates to me spending a hard earned £150 on something that has already made it to my drawer and not into my repertoire!

Hello and welcome back!!
It is geat to hear that you have found your way back to magic, I have been that route myself, for about 13 years ( easy to remember as my last show was for my youngest grandsons first birthday party, and he is now 14 ), my youngest grandaughter ( now 10 ) found that out and told me that she is sad because she did not see me perform magic, so that helped me find my way back, so WELCOME BACK!!!
