Hello,

UK based mentalist here, i have been performing for around 15 years off and on as either semi pro or just as a hobby. Now my daughter is a little older i am aiming to start performing more and more.

I have released effects in the past (most of which i am too ashamed to admit as i released them as a inexperienced youth) however i do have a few gems up my sleeve so to speak that i may release one day.

My main obsessions in mentalism are branching anagrams, peeks & naked effects.

I look forward to chatting with y'all

:)

Welcome to TM!!! I've never got on with anagrams, but mainly because I'm rubbish at presenting them properly!! Anyway, if you love mentalism, you're in the right place!!

Hey Kev, a long time ago i released a free ebook on branching anagrams, i think it was called A Beginners Guide To Progressive Anagrams, I dont have a copy anymore due to laptop viruses (and im also working on a definitive guide - definitive yeah right!) but im sure you will be able to find someone who has a copy. It was given out for free and anyone who has a copy is oblidged to pass on a copy to a fellow magi if they feel them worthy of magical secrets.

If you cant find a copy ill give you as much help as i can, they can be tricky to pull off but once you have the right presentation down then they slay the muggles :)

(Have you tied the psychological approach? Noty recieving letters out of the mist but reading their facial expressions to get the letters?)

The only exposure I've had to anagrams is through star sign divinations and finding out what European country someone is thinking of. Whilst I've got both of them to work - (I once did the EU one over the phone) the spec has always guessed or got very close to the method. Either that or they've been underwhelmed by it. I don't blame the anagram - there's a certain skill in masking the method, and it's something I just don't possess. I'm familiar with eye cues and facial expressions giving away unintended information. I use this in some card effects - Oserlinds Radar Deck springs to mind - but I've never come across an anagram effect that I actually got on with. That's not to say there isn't one out there!!!!
