Folks,
The Edinburgh International Magic Festival is on until Friday.
Luke Jermay's show Sixth Sense is excellent - it's in London in a couple of weeks but I understand there are still some tickets left for this Edinburgh run. Highly recommended.
I hadn't seen Fritz Alkemade before this week, but really loved his show. A lively show of general magic (different "categories" - cards, manipulations, mentalism etc) - very popular. There's a big feature on Fritz in the new MagicSeen.
Ali Cook and TM contributor Ian Kendall are brilliant as always. Tony Roberts does a great cards and gambling themed show and Paul Nardini is The Parlour Magician, also excellent.
PM me for a 15% discount code on per-booked tickets for the above shows (only) - I think there are still tickets left for all of these. I'm not involved in running the festival, but as a volunteer I can offer the discount to friends and family on the above shows.
The full programme is online at
www.magicfest.com.
I'm not sure if there are any tickets left for R Paul Wilson. Last I heard 2 of the 3 shows were full.
I'm not sure what to expect from The Secret Room, but it sounds intriguing, and with Colin McLeod, Lewis Barlow and this year's runner-up in the Magic Circle close-up competition Billy Reid, it is bound be a great show.
