Review

This is going straight into my close-up case and will be used for larger groups and tables (and i may make up a smaller version for close-up) as this is another real World worker. So easy to do but really packs a punch with multiple surprises for the audience. You receive the jumbo cards and the very clear instructions. The experienced performer will be able to do this straight away, but if by some slim chance you do not know the sleights then do not worry, they are explained well and you can easily find other sources. This really is a highly commercial piece of magic that you can easily adapt for tradeshow and corporate work. There is much scope here for adapting this to promote products, companies and entertain at trade shows. Nothing more to say than look at the demo and buy the effect!

Overall

Commercial, easy, strong. What more do you want? 10/10

I bought this on saturday. When i can find the time to learn it, i intend to use it in caberet.
Its visual, simple to follow, and quick to perform. A nice potential opener.

I'd of put it as a 3 rather than a 2 as you need to know both the E.c, and the J.c.
but if you know them, your away!.

and it resets in a second.

Good point! I was assuming that most of us would know those sleights. I edited the difficulty level on the review.

Great effect, I gave Paul a quote for his site and youtube channel, I dont do that for any old effect unless I really like it. I did the same for corner of Piccadilly. One of (if not my favourite) monte type routine to date.

I like the look of this. The bigness of the cards adds an almost comic element, quite effortlessly.

I'm not keen on Mandolin backs (the feathers tickle my nose) but it's nice to see the old shell backs getting an airing.

I guess we'll be seeing a lot of gimmicked/special cards with the Mandolin back now.

By the way, COPWAKED has NO gimmicks and NO rough/smooth. It's pretty easy and has a few climaxes. See the video on my website for a demo...

Here's a few reviews...

“A great routine; very entertaining” - Graham Jolley
“Visual & fun!” - Jim Sisti
“I’ve already added it to my act!” - Etienne Pradier
“A twist they won’t see coming!” - Nick Einhorn
“COPWAKED ticks all the boxes!” - Peter Duffie
“A very good worker!” - Paul Green

Another question, to Paul, you have COPWAK on your shop as well as COPWAKED, is the difference that the former is a normal size version of the latter (and please don't shout at me)? :)

I've just ordered this. I'll stick with Corner of Piccadilly for small tables and perform this for big tables. I'll try it on stage too.
