This looks interesting, but my inner depressive thinks it may just be dual reality or pre-show hypnosis (dog track, anyone?).

I think it sounds really interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing what he does.

Bumpety bump!!! Strange how this thread stopped right there!

I recorded the programme but, for all sorts of reasons never watched it - until this afternoon. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it, as a fan of 'Hustle' I appreciated the format and it was almost like seeing the Hustle characters back in action but 40 years or so older! No doubt a repeat will be on the cards at some point so, if you missed it, check it out - great fun!

They must have gotten that idea from Chan Canasta. Only Chan did it with a REAL robbery! It was a Goya painting that got stolen from the National Art Gallery. Canasta went on TV and challenged the thief to put it back. Naturally he was detained after the show by the police for questioning. They wondered if he had stolen it himself!

I really enjoyed it when it was originally on, I don't know if it's on 4oD or not but well worth a watch if it is.

Indeed it is! Try: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/derr ... e-specials and choose the Art Robbery episode. You'll need to be registered for 4OD and C4 doesn't let you in if you have an ad blocker activated!

I loved this Derren Brown special as well. His card under the box performance is really beautiful and was an excellent distraction for the lifting of the Mona Lisa. Loved it! It's also on The Devils Picture Book. His new show is out next year, Miracle. Already have my tickets!!!! Would like to know what he's got lined up for his next TV special.
