DJBenz, can you really perform this in seconds and be correct 100% of the time?. Put it this way, this even fooled Garret Thomas.

I'm of Limited Income myself but this looks great. Yes I too though it was a Magnet, but that you had to have a separate one in your back pocket as with this I thought it was a Magnetic Coin, but learned it's not the case. I'd love the same deal DJ got, but Romanos like us all has a living to make. I have a couple of his products I believe. I have Nefesch's "Lift" which is killer.

God Bless, Ed

I've been looking for a which hand has the coin effect for a while now. This sounds interesting.
May I ask those in the k ow a couple of discreet questions?
Can this be adapted to say poker chips or similar coin shaped thing's?
Is a switch in required.

Intrigued and haven't bought any new magic for a week!

Dammit, have given in to the dreaded CUPS!
Well not really I want it so that's not CUPS?

By the way any recommendations for other "I know which hand which coin is in" type effects?

Mmm, don't like it.

I can't tell the difference. I'm sitting here with gimmicked & ungimmicked in hands & cannot identify which is which.

On the video the way the chappie gets the info, well 1, no spec is gonna put the coin in your hand at that angle. 2, yes you can adjust the coin to that angle & then get the info but the info check isn't very discreet, 3, the info check isn't guaranteed (at least to my mind)

I think this would have worked with the g***** m****** in a different position.

The idea is nice but I don't think the DVD instructions or routines are a lot of cop either. There are only 2 effects on the DVD. (Well 3, but the 3rd uses the exact same principal as another)

There's another effect where you use 3 coins, but the spectator shuffle / mix involved is horrible. I'd have no confidence in them doing that (audience management!!) but its a horrible shuffle. Why can't they just take them in there hands & mix 'em up anyhow? Answer, cos the 3 coins effect wouldn't work.

So all in all, it's a lovely principal & if Gerti is the first effect to use this principle then 9/10. If Gertis just an update on an old principal then 2/10.

PS. Flogging mine @ cost + free postage.

Steve,
If you fancy joining us for a drink in Brighton (we no longer meet regularly on Tuesdays, but text me and I'll organise everyone...) then I'll share something I created, which is kind of similar to this in effect but in reverse, it is super easy and I perform it more than anything else.
