Anyone got any up to date info on this issue? I need a few hundred forks as I'm just starting practising, so pound shops (three for a quid or whatever) may not work out too efficient. I want more like twenty for a quid!

I phoned up WMS (or may have been alakazam - I can't remember) and brought a few thousand in one go. They chucked me a good discount for that. Always worth phoning up and asking!

Wow. I'll have to look into that. I tested the weakest fork in Nisbett and I found that I could just about bend the tines but not the neck. The problem is I don't know whether this is my hand strength still too weak, or the forks are too strong. Maybe I can get WMS or Alakazam to send me a sample. I work out with a finger strengthener object but I do have Girl Guide hands and there's only so much you can do.

PS, are they the World Magic Shop Liquid Forks? Comes with a video?

Yes it's the liquid forks, but to the best of my knowledge it didn't come with a video. Or maybe just mine didn't as I didn't do it through the site.

I have used forks from hundreds of companies and these are my favourite (though I still perform with other forms as well; needs must!)

Occasionally you get a nasty batch through (as with any bulk made object), but I find that 9/10 packs are fine

Of those that you actually USE (you mention you use others too), are these among the EASIEST? My hand strength isn't great...

Yes they are the easiest. Though I would recommend once you can do all the moves with this type to then gradually move up to tougher ones and increase your strength do that you can do it with any fork that is given to you (I remember one wedding I did they tried to swap a fork without me noticing. I pretended not to notice and did all the bends anyway. Best reaction I ever got)

Wow. It's great that you can use tough forks.

I've ordered these forks, I'm glad to hear that they're suitable for wimps.

PS, this is my 1,000th post! Maybe buy me some cake?

When you do it as your core staple your hands have no choice but to get strong! I can go through over 100 forks a night if it is a slightly longer gig - I bend them, they bend them, break them, turn them into pendants etc

List goes on!
