London Magic Meet - Tuesday 17th of February

Postby artychris » Jan 20th, '15, 02:46

We haven't had a magic meet for a little while... So its about time we got together with a couple of beers, some playing cards and whatever magic we're working on now...

The plan is...

THE SHAKESPEARS HEAD from 7:30 onwards... Its right by Holborn tube station, so hopefully nice and easy for everyone to get to :)

If you've never been to one of these before, then the first one of 2015 is the ideal time to start!

And if we haven't seen you for a while... This is the one to come along to!!!

See you there :)

Chris

Should be free.

"I want to do magic...but I don't want to be referred to as a magician." - A layman chatting to me about magic.

By mere coincidence, I should actually be in England and in London that very day. I was planning on going to see Andy Nyman's Ghost Stories though. Until what time you usually hang around?

That was a fun night!

Once we got a table in the rather busy pub.... There was lots of magic! The highlights were a mini cups and balls workshop... Ines hreat version of Gemini Twins, Joes excellent false cut (so easy and so deceptive!) and his new card across routine, Peter doing Darren Browns Out Of This World and also hypnotisisng Joe! And I got Joe Barrys Prophecy to work despite being somewhat tipsy by the end of the night!

Who needs Blackpool!!! :)

MiKo, sorry you didn't get to us! How was the play?

Yes, sorry not to have been there, but it would have been a mess. We decided to actually go to the play only on Tuesday morning and I had to be in Canterbury for the night, since we left from Dover early in the morning yesterday. We got first row tickets for the play and it was absolutely brilliant. We loved it. If anybody has read (for example) Jeremy Dyson's haunted book, I suggest that you go and see it...
