Anyone seen live or got this 'bandwidth' ring effect yet? I keep getting promo mails and stuff about it, I just looked up a vid and wondered if anyone had any experience and what they thought?

i picked it up from Greg at a lecture a couple of years ago... and never used it because i couldnt remember the handling that he tought and couldnt figure out smething myself that felt natural enough.

having said that, i have now bought the marketed efefct, learnt from the teaching material provided, and love it (cant believe how uselesss i was before). the effect is easy to do assuming you already know 1 or two basic moves, otherwise it might take an extra 10 minutes to learn; and it it looks great. the gimmick is well made and the trailer is completely truthful as to how the effect looks. cant say fairer than that i think.

the gimmick works for both gold and silver rings but some of the time none of your specs will be wearing an appropriate ring so you wont be able to do this.

overall i am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

angles: not 100%, but this is easily overcome (and i am someone avoids pretty much anything with angle issues)

It's just come out, but Greg had a handful to sell at lectures. I saw him perform this on his recent UK lecture tour and it is incredible.

Its explained in one of his penguin lectures... I think it was the second one. So it might be worth buying that first to see if you'll like it, plus you'll get a tonne of his other great work!
