Death Wish by Black Artefacts

Postby Stephen Ward » Jul 30th, '07, 14:58

The Effect

You go up to a spectator and tell them you want them to wish you were dead! Not just a small wish but a big wish for a really nasy death. You tell them that you are safe as you have voodoo protection and cannot die. You then hand a small packet of blank - backed cards to a spectator and ask them to mix them up well and spread them on the table. The cards are turned over and elimated one by one (spectator has free choices), when each card is turned over it is a death tarot card with a horrible death described on the card. This process is repeated until only one card remains. It is turned over and it says something really nice and happy as the fate for the magician.

Review

This really is a classic of magic. The choices seem so fair to the spectator and i have performed this quite a few times now with great reactions. Once again you get very well made props which will last you ages. The story by Keith is very strong. Now some of you may be thinking that this is too strong and in bad taste. Well worry not as Keith also includes the outline for a much less hard hitting story with a nice positive ending. Having performed this in the real World i can tell you this is becoming very popular. There is no reset, just drop the cards back in your jacket pocket and carry on with the next trick. there is no setting-up involved so great for table-hopping.

This is great for beginners and professionals. You will perform this little beauty straight away. It is just a case of learning the story or creating your own.

Overall

10/10 Thanks Keith! bless your (BLACK) heart

It's great to see you back Stephen, I used to enjoy all your reviews of the Blackhart products and true to form here's a review of a blackhart product, the only problem now is I'm going to have to find some more cups money for this product

That reminds me! before anyone makes any jokes about why so many black hart reviews. I do a lot of bizarre magick now and this company is one of the best UK makers so hence i buy a lot from them. these reviews are independent and the company does not ask for any reviews and i do not get any product free!

Greetings from The Black Hart

Following the recent redesign of the Black Artefacts' website Death Wish can now be found at: http://www.blackhart.co.uk/dicewithdevil.html

The catalogue is now a stand alone website and should be much easier to navigate.
