Seeking A Coin Gaff

Postby FTHO » Jun 1st, '15, 21:09

Hello,

I'm not much of a coin magician. That is partially out of choice (I enjoy being fooled by coin magic and don't really want to give that up) and partially due to a lack of technical ability!
However I have been working on a little routine using two old english pennies. Currently it has two phases which work really well together and I've thought of a fantastic finale as a third phase but it requires a gaffed coin that I'm struggling to find.

I own a Coin Unique which is the kind of gaff I am looking for. I believe Scotch and Soda is similar but I'm probably mistaken?

The requirements are as follows:

• Ideally I should be able to show a silver coin and an old english penny and then cause the silver coin to vanish. So the gaff would need to be a penny on the outside.
• Failing that I could rework the ending (although it might make less sense) in order to make the penny vanish and be left with a silver coin. Penny on the inside

• Either way it is vital that the coin is generally safe to be examined as the magic is going to happen in the spectators hands - I'd be more than happy to allow someone to inspect my Coin Unique if they so wished.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a version of the gaff with either of these qualities?

Many thanks,

Sam
