Single Bicycle Cards

Postby sibex » Jan 19th, '16, 13:04

Hi All,

Anyone know where you can buy individual cards? I'm looking to make up a couple of different packet tricks and can only seem to find gaff cards for sale individually.

Thanks in advance.

How many different cards are you after??
If you're only after a few, it'd probably be more cost effective yo buy a few decks then take out what you need.
If you're after quite a few; a three way forcing deck would give you 17 of 3 different values.
I think that buying individual cards would be quite expensive .... if you can find somewhere that sells them ....

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I have several piles of cards from decks that reached their retirement age, decks that were not complete anyomore (because of signed card routines, folded cards, TnR, etc.) or anything like that. When I create a packet trick by myself, I use these cards. Sometimes it's also handy to have these piles of "spare-cards" to refill your deck after a choosen card was signed or destroyed.

Greets,

Kim.

As moonbeam says it seems like a bit of overkill to get individual cards rather than in decks. Bicycle decks really aren't that pricy especially if you shop around. Or Phoenix decks are good value for money if the back design is not crucial.
If you post what cards you need many of us may have what you need. I've certainly got a few incomplete decks that I use to replenish signed cards and packet tricks.

Probably the lowest cost option is to get bricks of Bikes from Costco or similar (if you have, or know someone with, membership) where the price is very affordable then just make up complete decks using them as 'donor' decks. Bear in mind that Bike Seconds are quite cheap and usually have almost nothing wrong with them, perhaps being just slightly off-centre to the printing.
