Yeah thought as much.. Actually looking back i am sure i did here somebody talking about this at the magic club last year.. Them guys and their devises at the airport security are a bit hi tec theses days.Mandrake wrote:Absolutely not in hand held cabin luggage as it's a flammable item and prohibited. I believe it would also be prohibited in luggage in the hold due to the possibility of spontaneous combustion and the inevitable potentially disastrous results. I would also guess that there's a chance that vapours from the paper could be detected by equipment scanning for explosives.
Perhaps this question should be put to some of the airlines and see what their official stance is?
Can't imagine that.. Think i will cancel any flash products now.Mandrake wrote:I recent;y ordered Flash Wool which arrived by ordinary post so, if you need a supply of flash stuff in, say, Madrid and there isn't a local magic dealer then it seems as though you might be able to post stuff to yourself c/o the hotel you're staying at? Probably also infringing international postage regulations and still likely to be confiscated in handling plus a 4am visit from the local boys in blue on your arrival!
