DF Cards - Routines?

Postby DaveWise » Oct 5th, '16, 22:01

I recently just bought a pack of double-facers. Most have different values on each side, some have the same value, and a few have blank sides. Can anyone recommend some routines so I can put these babies to use?

I've also got a couple of double-backers. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has some suggestions for those as well.

Thanks!
Dave

I believe there's a two card Monte routine using one DF'er and one double backer - if anyone can describe this effect perhaps a PM to Dave would be best?

Anniversary Waltz uses up a DF each time.
If you've got some Aces backed with spot cards, then McDonald's Aces is fun too,

Have a look at Hugard's Encyclopedia of Card Tricks.

The best one that I can think of that uses a DF is def Anniversary Waltz - it requires the DF to have different values on either side. Depending on how you perform it, you can also use a DB card as well.

Peter Eggink's "3 fry" uses DB cards. I think it requires 3 DB's, but if I remember correctly, I think you can perform it using only 1 DB, but you need to handle the cards carefully.

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

'Bold Fusion' (Cardshark) and the revised version 'Ultimate Fusion' (Scams and Fantasies with Cards)(both by Darwin Ortiz) are two great routines that utilise a DF (different faces requires). Great routine where the deck is discarded at the outset and only 'two' cards are used.
