Move Zero 1 and 2 by John Bannon

I don't think this has been reviewed before, apologies if it has.

These are two volumes of DVDs by John Bannon with eight effects on Volume 1 and nine on Volume 2. Each and every one is self-working, hence the title.

I won't go through trick by trick I just wanted to comment on the DVDs overall. These are to my mind absolutely superb. Bannon performs and explains every trick concisely and clearly, he has put in little explanations for some of the actions (no sleight of hand anywhere so can't call them moves - just techniques) and gives generous credit to the originators of any elements of the effects.

If I had to single out one trick that is totally amazing I would go for Dead Reckoning on Volume 2. This appears in his book Dear Mr Fantasy but is so much more clearly described on the DVD.

Possibly the best set of self-working card tricks ever published, I cannot speak too highly of these DVDs.

9.5 / 10

I like JB stuff especially his packet tricks, fairly simple and really visual
