I understand he has sold around a dozen in the last day or so (via facebook) which is quite remarkable since it has only just come out. Not on any website of any kind. The book is also meant for sale to the general public and was meant to enable distribution of such on the 1st November. Alas he does not understand computer matters and accidentally enabled it for 1st December instead. So magicians will get first dibs at it if they approach him by private message. As yet there has been no reaction to the book whether positive or negative. So far the only person who thinks the book is wonderful is the author himself. He is particularly impressed by the way the book is laid out by Ariel Frailich to make the manuscript look better than it actually is. Ariel also designed the cover.

The foreword is by Richard Webster who has sold well over ten million books of his own. The author of Streetwise Tarot has alas sold somewhat less than this but nevertheless does what he can. This is the foreword by Richard which might give some idea of the tone of the book. He mentions the name of the author in the foreword but as the gentleman is, as you have mentioned, shy and retiring, I have edited this to leave his name out.

"The author and I started corresponding sometime in the 1980s. He’d bought some books of mine as he was learning how to become a psychic reader. In what seemed like no time at all, he became the best-known psychic in Ireland. About thirty years ago, he moved to Toronto, Canada, where he’s enjoyed a successful career as a palmist and Tarot card reader ever since. We were friends well before we finally met at a marketing conference in Albuquerque in the early 1990s. We live in different parts of the world, but fortunately our paths have crossed a number of times over the years.
The author is a great raconteur with an excellent memory, and a wonderful sense of humour. He is also a gifted writer, as you’ll soon discover. He has a breezy, easy-to-understand style, and his sense of humour is never far below the surface. He works in a variety of settings, including flea markets, psychic fairs, and corporate events. He also has a thriving private practice. Consequently, his approach is different to that of other psychic readers, and he’s happy to give you the benefit of his versatility and many years of experience. If you want to become a successful Tarot reader, you must read his book."

A most excellent unsolicited testimonial, thank you.

I am not sure it was unsolicited since the author actually asked him to do it! Perhaps not write those actual words but to at least write the foreword. He also did the same with Harry Lorayne with regard to the Annotated Royal Road to Card Magic. He always seems to ask forewords from authors who have sold millions of books themselves. Possibly he is hoping some of it will rub off. 12 books is a start to the million I suppose.

Here you are!
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Streetwise-Tar ... ords=tarot

However, if you get it from me direct instead of from Amazon I will be happy to send a signed gummed label which you can affix inside the book. The book is not on my website just yet so you would have to send me a private message to order it direct.
